nothing like a good book (giveaway!)
I have a confession to make.
Many of you have been so appreciative of the parenting tips I share here. I must admit, though, that most of them are stolen. Okay, copied. . . borrowed. . . learned? Yes, just about every single tip that works for me has been lifted straight from a teacher, or a child care provider, or my mother, or a friend, or you wonderful bloggers out there.
A very significant portion come from the wisdom of my mentors and friends at Uncommon Parenting, Chick Moorman and Thomas Haller. That’s a great thing for me, and today, for you!
This wisdom isn’t meant to be hoarded — it needs to be shared — to inspire confidence in parents and children, and help make the world a better place. So today I’m offering a
Free Giveaway!

I can’t begin to tell you how much inspiration and ideas these books have given me. Chick and Thomas have a hopeful, flexible view of parenting that makes me want to be the best parent I can possibly be.

Oooh! This is tough. I think I’d go for the “10 Commitments.” I’ve been striving toward more purposeful parenting lately. The content appears to be just what I need.
Thanks!
Tanya Dennis’s last blog post..In Pursuit of P31 (and a giveaway!)
I’d like to read 10 Commitments. Sasha’s arrival (and propensity for not sleeping) has given me a chance to reflect on what I’d like to do better, and this book will definitely help.
OT: saw your tweet about 30 day shred. Rashaan did it and was very pleased with the results. I am planning to do it during May.
I would like to read
Parent Talk:
How to Talk to your Children in Language that Builds Self-Esteem and Encourages Responsibility . My son is 5 and I would like more information on how to build his self esteem. Thanks!

Thanks for the giveaway!(I would take any of the books really…)
I just attended Pam’s workshop with Thomas Haller and have already noticed a huge difference in not only our kiddos behavior but most importantly my own attitude and stress relief. I got “The Only Three Discipline Strategies You’ll Ever Need: Essential Skills for Busy Parents” and “Parent Talk” at the seminar. I read the three strategies in no time flat. I couldn’t get enough! I’ve started Parent Talk too.
I’d love to add “The Ten Commitments: Parenting with Purpose” to my collection!
Thank you, thank you, thank you for giving my hope and the skills I need to be the best parent that I can be! I look forward to learning more from you guys and shariing the learning experience with my family!
